Commission Program
A handcrafted wood masterpiece from Hurricane Helene–salvaged timber — designed in collaboration with Appalachian master artisans, crafted to outlast us all.
What Is an Echo
An Echo is a custom wood art piece — from functional furniture to large-scale sculptural installations — crafted from timber salvaged in the wake of Hurricane Helene. Each piece tells three stories: the story of the tree, the artisan crafting the art, and our mission to rebuild economic roots in Western North Carolina.
Every commission is a collaboration between you and one of our Appalachian artisans. The result is a one-of-a-kind piece that carries the grain, character, and history of the mountain forests where it began.
Who It's For
Lobbies, boardrooms, offices, and commercial spaces seeking distinctive art that tells a story and invests in community.
Hotels, restaurants, event venues, and boutique properties looking for statement pieces that tell a place-specific story.
Municipalities, parks departments, community foundations, and schools. Pieces that heal, beautify, and bring people together.
Custom pieces honoring loved ones, significant life events, or personal connection to the mountains and the storms.
Featured Commission
When Biltmore Forest Town Hall needed a centerpiece for their renovated chambers, they commissioned master woodworker Kwadwo Som-Pimpong of Crafted Glory to create a mantel from Helene-salvaged black walnut.
The result is a living piece of community history — a statement of resilience that greets every resident and visitor who enters the hall. This is what an Echo can become.
